Rhydderch Hael
Borderwatch is not the village to raze, my friend. You want to torment those folks? Dance with the madmen at the shrine. My retirement plans for my Breton paladin include trying to shack up with Estelle Renoit of Renoit's Books in Chorrol. The kid is an incurable skirt-chaser. My (female) Bosmer ranger will live out her days in the most scenic campsite she can find, taking out any bandit that tries to reclaim it. One thing I'm questing to accomplish is replace all the worthless replica items in the Fighters' Guild Halls with enchanted weapons and arms bearing the names of slain heroes. I never quite understood why replicas worth 1 gold were kept under Hard and Very Hard display case locks.

Povuholo
My mage HAS retired. He now lives in his house in skingrad, collecting diamonds, emeralds, etc. He's practices magic there as well. He also checks all the mages guilds every now and then. And check whether his collection of ayleid statues hasn't sunk into the ground again.. o_O

In his free time he likes to try and remember where he parked his atronach familiar and collect rare books and wines. He one day dreams going city to city and massacering all the inhabitants thereof.
Zoram
I have finished the game before but I'm doing it again for some reason. When I finish again I will do the following as retirement- Buy all houses and extensions- Put a set of each town's guard armour in each town house- Put supplies of each type in the place I see as most suitable (e.g ingredients in mage's tower, stuff like human hearts in the cheydinal house (DB), etc.)- I will obviously do all the other quests but not nearly the same speed I went for the main quest.- Using the mod where you actually have to eat everyday- Going to get money from simple hunting animals, maybe the occasional bandit camp or highwayman- Spend the rest of my mortal days hating the High Chancellor Ocato for giving me some poorly enchanted armour just for saving the world as he knows it...- Stealing from any NPC who says something negative to me- Carrying on as the Listener of the black hand getting some spare money. LHammonds
I haven't finished the game yet but I plan on selling off everything that I own and living the remainder of my days in the poor waterfront district. I'll tell everyone I meet what a great hero I was in my youth and how everyone owes me bigtime...until somebody takes out a knife and kills me because I have nothing for defense. Vicrry
Hmmm.... I think I might go to Morrowind and quest for immortality there, and then why would I retire? ( Yes, I do know that this is impossible)
Five
If I could, I would spend my retirement days buying every single horse in Oblivion. Maybe I could make a small business out of horses for rent or something. And if the horses needed any care at all, I would consider hiring some of the stable masters. But mostly, I'd just like to own every single horse there is. Five
