Hmmm... So if my thinking is correct then with the islands shifting back and forth between other dimensions we could basically create our characters from pretty much any sort of setting right? Or are we limited to characters only from Cyrodiil? Either way I'm in lol. Though i am gonna be pretty busy this month but i'll try and post whenever i can.

if the islands are indeed shifting between dimentions then we would have to restrect the ammout of dimentions the the islands are shifting between otherwise there would be a infinate ammount of possable characters form the infinate ammount of dimentions meaning that in one dimentoin what would be week as hell would be in another strong as a god also between dimetions the gear of the characters should change to suit the dimention....

Thank you all for your interest in the RP. I work at a summer camp without internet and I'm not off work very often so we'll start up the RP in August when I'm more available. Now about my confusing realm of Armageddon: The islands shift into other dimensions but they remain a part of Armageddon the laws of which stay the same. The reason why bullets have a much more random power in Armageddon than in other realms and than other weapons is to prevent certain people from being gods just because they walk around with a twelve-gauge shotgun forcing guns to be last-ditch effort weapons rather than instant death weapons (as they basically would be) you can create any race or kind of character because as I said most of the islands shift dimensions from time to ime however you must explain the race (if it's something not from the real world, TES or Fallout) and there are limits to how powerful you are. Note that the island shifting only plays an integral role in how the characters GET to Armageddon the adventure itself will not make peoples' powers constantly changing. Strength, dexterity, intelligence, resilliancy, etc. are all constants the variables are the effectiveness of guns and lasers and the like (again to keep it balanced). Furthermore not all of the islands shift, for example Saros the largest isle (roughly half the size of Australia) doesn't change dimensions but can change locations in Armageddon so factors on those non-shifting isles will largely remain the same. As to the potential for abuse of the varrying balistics effectiveness (excepting bow and arrow, crossbows and thrown knives etc.) that will be determined by the GM in each situation as the acting GM sees fit, the acting GM may NOT use guns, lasers or the like while acting as GM to prevent god-modding. I'm hoping that clears up some of the questions. if any more arise I'll answer them. I apologize if the concept is difficult to follow I know it's more than a litte abstract.

hello all. The whole idea of having an Oblivion styled RP is very enticing. If its made, i'm joining it, Period! :P :D

PS: something is wrong with this page on my browser, for some reason half of the screen is blanked out.

I suppose we could start the RP now but I'd be gone for a week starting next sunday and that early on in an RP can kill it.
