Vuvuzelas!

Anyone ever get the idea to put vuvuzelas in Oblivion? I'd love nothing more than to run around and annoy guys with one of those things. They could either be found in a chest somewhere or bought at one of the stores in, say, the Imperial City.

Putting vuvuzelas in the arena = epic win!

Maybe we could also get vuvuzelas that we could use like staves, with different enchantments on them.

It would be a pretty fun little mod. The mesh and textures would be easy, and I'm sure you can find a vuvuzela soundbite somewhere on the internet. I just wonder if there'd be someway to get your character to use it- a custom pose addition perhaps, or an idle replacer if you don't mind the obnoxiousness.

Let me think. First, replace the ArenaCheer sound with a looping vuvuzela track. Then, alter the meshes of the cheering spectators so they have vuvuzelas. Next, run for cover and release the mod, and hope nobody tracks you down.

Also, vuvuzelas as staves? Dang, if this was Morrowind we could add a deafness enchantment onto them!

Well, someone already put one into Fallout 3.

Also: Getting it set up as a weapon that plays 'that' sound (causing damage) shouldn't be too difficult for those that know how.

Mehrunes Dagon driven back to his realm by the Adoring Fan and his Vuvuzela of deafening doom...

Here's a quick job I did of it in Blender. I'm going to need a lot of help with texturing it and making it a viable weapon, though. I dunno how to texture objects and add collision.

Help with texturing? My *someoneneedsatexture*-sensor just went red! Omg!

Lol, I'd be happy to do the texture for you if someone can get me a pic - I can do UV's too. But I just started out in blender, and cant do collision yet ;'[
