smidge
ok, when making a mod with books in it i noticed that to actually write in the book you need to use code that looks awful similar to html. Is the code just html???
ThetaOrionis01
Don't quote me on this, but I think I read somewhere that the in-game books use a modified html code - not all tags will work. I think I tried to use the tag for preformatted text once, and it didn't work - so I had to insert all the breaks rather than copy/paste the text from Word. NickJones
Anyone know of a tutorial that tells us which tags we can and can't use, and how to use them? The html in the Book Art folder on the TESCS disk isn't very helpful. :(
FlyingFox
Just open some of the already made books in the CS, and model your own off that. I'm sure that most if not all tags will be used (at least the most common ones will be) Dont know of a standard tutorial, though.
Guest
The in-game books use a limited sub-set of HTML. I wrote a small text-editor called BookGen that lets you type in normal text and then it will convert your text to MW HTML. It is still a beta version; the full version will support image tags and exporting directly into your plug-in file.It is available on my mods page in the tools section.
