pablosplinter Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 hello everyone. new to the forums and would appreciate some help with the nightmare that i am having trying to install oblivion goty on my laptop.i have played oblivion for years on the 360 but recently bought the pc version as i would like to play it at work but i can't install the damn thing.... when i enter the disc the autorun starts but soon this message comes up: No disc inserted.Please insert the original "Oblivion GOTY" CD/DVD.Please have a look at http://www.securom.c...ge.asp?m=nodisc for further, more detailed information. i have tried running in compatability mode and stuff like that but to no avail.i am running windows 7 home premium and my laptop has no problem in actually running the game. any help would be much appreciatedthank you ps sorry, i know, posted this somewhere else by mistake. Fonger Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 things to try 1 - install in safe mode 2 - make certain you have a dvd drive not only a cd drive (game is on dvd) 3 - google for securom solutions - its a cranky system and they have a web site.
