I stumbled upon a rather curious creature...At first, I thought there was just some kind of a visual distortion and it was just a regular slaughterfish, but after being attacked by a regular slaughterfish I realised that it was indeed a HUGE slaughterfish and the name of it is... "Giant Slaughterfish".So figures, me being level 35 in full daedric enchanted armor and with maxed destruction I decided to kill it and since my blade is enchanted (goldbrand), I decided to soul trap it within Azura's Star to recharge the blade after a heated battle. Well, to my greatest surprise I was told it was not big enough for that soul, i.e. it's soul is bigger than Grand. Now to my question: how do you soultrap a soul that's bigger than Grand? >_>It would make for some excellent enchants. I bet it's how you make those sweet 3000 charge weapons. (Just a guess) And since it's about soultrapping, here's my other question:How much charge does a humanoid soul hold? (I haven't tried making black gems yet, but soon... tremble mortals! Mwahaha). However, you cannot use grand soul gams or Azura's Star to capture them, because both of these soul gems are light -- IE, unable to capture the souls of humanoids due to restrictions placed upon them by their creator. Either way, simply click the New Topic button on the bottom right of the screen when browsing a forum. Then enter the topic title, and type your post. The restriction on "humans" applies to all monsters/humeans/etc/ that are marked as NPC's (I think that's the characteristic) in the construction set. Gonna have to make more, they take forever to make with the amount of time you have to wait.Although I have to now find a new giant slaughterfish as well... they are very rare.
