Underwear or nude has nothing to do with body texture. Actually, body replacer with underwear is: underwear mesh on adjusted nude body mesh. If you don't want perma-underwear, install nude version on it.

If you are on a windows Vista or windows 7 computer and your game is installed in c:\Program Files (x86)\... then you are running into the dreaded UAC problem. In essence, a Windows security "feature" is protecting you from modding your game. In order to fix this, you will need to uninstall Oblivion and then reinstall it somewhere other than c:\Program Files (x86). Many people here recommend using c:\Games\Oblivion.

downloading/modding newb here as well. I got a version of Oblivion via steam. It IS installed in the x86 program file.

Would this be why all the animation replacers that are not governed by OMODs are simply not working? Likewise I've been trying to "upgrade" to the HGEC BBB models of clothing items and nude models. Can't get the original OMOD versions of HGEC to replace with the BBB ones and the skeletons seem to do nothing... :(

So do I need to reinstall elsewhere as well? And will steam let me do that?

Like I said, fairly new to modding. Had Morrowind and Sims and TS2 years ago and was able to become comfortable working with tons of player made content there. But having a bear of a time getting the basic stuff to work here. A pointer to a good basic FAQ with stuff like the x86 heads up would be appreciated.

Reinstall Steam to C:\Games. You'll have to reinstall all of your Steam games. That is likely the safest solution, but you could also try turning off the UAC on the Steam folder.

New Users Guide - http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/#new_users_guide <-- for after you fix the UAC interference issue (by installing or turning it off on the relevant folder)

For the bounce to work you need the relevant animations, these are no longer available on the nexus, but if you send me a PM I will send you the animations.
