POST: either if you like the idea, or think it's squicky (but no trolling). I need your ideas and opinions to keep this alive.

So, yeah. Squicky request. Here's a tutorial for bow morphs if that'll be a problem: http://www.alys.org/gallery/Windys-Bow-Tutorial

Anyway, here it is. I warn you, that is not for the faint of heart at all...

Take the Dark Bow from Shivering Isles, and remove the frilly bits around the grip, and also the orbs that are in the mouths of the snakeheads at either end.

Retexture the snakheads and grip this texture: http://www.filterforge.com/filters/7436.jpg It's seamless, but try to keep it large enough so you can see the pattern, but small enough the whole pattern shows, mkay?

Then, retexture the bow's arms this texture: http://www.filterforge.com/filters/7139.jpg , or this one: http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-44064157/stock-vector-abstract-vector-muscle-background.html if you got a shutterstock account. It's preferrable, and free, but some people have trouble with Shutterstock's sign-up.

Then, you take the eye from the Staff of Sheogorath, (cutting off the vein trailing from the end, cause it'll get in the way) and place one of them in each snake's mouth. Then retexture the iris a radioactive green, prefferably adding a glowmap so the iris' glow in the dark.

Then you're done!

If you could do an armor (Shrouded Armor, UFF female, all belts, buckles, pauldrons and strpas removed) with the muscle texture, that's be even cooler, but no worry at all.

FYI - The Wendy's Bow Morph tutorial requires very specific and very old software to work and not many people have been successful at the creation of "working" bows. Nicoroshi was one such modder and also wrote down his notes on creating bows which were adaptations of Wendy's method.

Just recently though, it has been proven that custom (working) bows can be exported directly from Blender with the latest NIF scripts. The only problem being that there are no tutorials released yet. The closest thing would be this thread

@Lhammonds: Oh, cool... I think. Got a little technical at every point beyond "Your tutorial sucks."@Uberman: Don't even worry about it, man. Let someone else deal with the craziness...@Alonso: Yep, technical bow morph stuff is a real b@gger, ain't it?

I'll do my best, also, I prefer myself called either Simon or Mental, I kind of don't like my forum name choice.   (:

I wish I could just remember everything, the last time I played with models and textures was almost half a year ago.
