Executor64 Posted October 16, 2014 Share Posted October 16, 2014 (edited) Im finishing my Oblivion mod install on a newer PC, and It was bug free (as far as i tested)until 3 days ago when i installed several mods (about 4-5) mods without running game after every one Now my game crashes when i leave the sewers, and start walking away from the entrance (not relevant in what direction)If i stay in place i am fine. I read mod descriptions and comments so i doubt there is a conflict issue, but i cant seem to solveby simply unplugging them (OR i unplugged/plugged in something else!) The reason I ask is the delinquent masters reported after Sounds of Cyrodiil patches.esp ... those masters are installed but below Sounds in your load order. If not create a User Rule that put's it below the lowest of the four masters (HeartOftheDead.esp in the load list you posted, but whichever the lowest is in the most recent BOSS sort) and then rebuild your bashed patch. Striker879 Posted October 17, 2014 Share Posted October 17, 2014 I've been doing some mod installing and testing myself lately (recovering from a hard drive failure, so making a fresh start). Something I noticed is the Tutorial quest notice (the "Welcome to the wide world" one) doesn't pop up until you've taken a few steps from where you are deposited outside the sewers. I'm wondering whether it could be at the root of your problem ... problem is how to test. On one of my playthroughs the notice that your Imperial Dragon armor was ready to be picked up notice was giving me CTDs (and that wasn't apparent until afterwards). I tried the "coc center, wait 72 hours" trick. It allowed all the various running scripts to sort themselves out ... I got my armor ready notice and all was well afterwards. It's worth a try. Edit - Have you seen this thread http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/410624-francescos-optional-new-creatures-add-onesm-crashes-my-game-and-a-graphics-question/ ?I have just solved the problem by unplugging one of the few mods (out of 200+) that i neglected to check!im an idiot, it was "better daedric shrines" - merged version by Scot and Stratoi and it is an obvious conflict with UL mods, and apparently the 2 compatibility patches that i know of are not enough to fix these problems (or problems with other mods that i am not aware of at this moment).How does it cause an error while leaving the sewer entrance cell i have no idea but it's cover is blown and it will burn in my recycle bin for it's sins. Thank you for provided support and i apologize for my oversight Striker879.To answer your questions, checked and coc works fine now for all locations (Weye included) - before unplugging better daedric shrines coc made my screen dark!As for that post about Francesco's optional new creatures, i do not use that particular plugin as i do not like non lore monsters(yes i know MMM and War Cry have loads, and i plan to track down their "no XXX monsters".esp to eliminate them as well), As i do still run into random errors i will post my LOOT report here if nothing then to confirm the load order i have is correctAs soon as "view last report" starts to work as atm im getting a blank page from LOOT.Also LOOT sorts my plugins in such a way that my game never gets past the loading screen :-/ so i am stuck with BOSS for the time being...(how is it that they didn't port their info on existing Oblivion mods if they are the same guys that made boss?)
