Need Help On Installing A Mod

hello

This is my first time instailing a mod and i have no clue how to install the mod it says something about deleting a zip file in Oblivion\data and i dont know how to do any of this.

Which mod are you trying to install ?

Just extract all files to Bethesda/Oblivion/data and click yes if you need to replace files.

 

Then select the mod from the data files on the auto start.

 

This will only work if no other mods are installed, otherwise you will overite them.

Er...I use that method all the time and I have never overwritten any previous mods. The only files it should overwrite are those with the same name (ie a previous version) or textures that are getting replaced.

I do it to, but you have to be careful cause some files may have the same name.

i extracted the file but i cant find the folder ur talking about

i have the mod and i turned it on in data files menu but when i go to where it is the mod isnt there what did i do wrong or can do to fix this
