RustyBlade
Has anyone ever figured out how Jowan manages to get captured, taken to Denerim, get rescued, speak with Loghain and get his mission, travel to Redcliffe, gain the confidence of the Guerrins and poison the Arl in less time than it takes for Duncan and the Circle Warden to travel from the tower to Ostagar? It is stated in game that the Arl fell sick before the King's death and the codex states that teleporting is impossible so how does this happen? Blood magic isn't that good. Or am I just being too picky about nits

A lot to happen in the time it takes for Duncan and recruit to get to Ostagar.

RustyBlade
Actually I think I have it figured out. Duncan and the warden recruit leave the circle and head north to Highever. The recruit sits in camp polishing his staff while Duncan goes and fails to get any more recruits from Cousland Castle due to Howe taking it over. They then head west to Ostagar where the recruit sits in Tapsters getting hammered while Duncan goes out and checks the Deep Roads. Recruit is now too drunk to travel so Duncan hangs out at the provings looking for recruits - finds none. They then head south to Redcliffe so Duncan can tell the king that Redcliffe forces can arrive in less than a week. By this time Jowan is in place and has begun to tutor Connor and poisons the Arl the day after Duncan and the now sober recruit head to Ostagar. Yeah, that's the ticket :whistling:
danscott84
Only one flaw in that part about Redlciffe. Jowan can't be there yet to tutor Connor when you are there, otherwise you won't be so surprised when you see him in the dungeon. :wallbash: Maybe Redcliffe, then Dalish camp on way to Ostagar? That way Jowan would be meeting with Loghain outside Redcliffe while also on his way to Ostagar. :whistling:
Sebiale
Edit: That's wrong, never mind, carry on.

Jowan would be busy tutoring or poisoning and the recruit would be in camp or just sitting outside the castle fidgeting. I ruled out sitting at Lloyds due to Berwick, Bella and Lloyd not knowing the warden when he enters the bar.
Chiramu
Also don't forget the time your warden is unconscious after being rescued from the tower of Ishal, and the time it takes to get to Lothering.I often wonder how long it would actually take in real time to travel the map. RustyBlade
Also don't forget the time your warden is unconscious after being rescued from the tower of Ishal, and the time it takes to get to Lothering. That part is irrelevant. Eamon is poisoned before the defeat at Ostagar so the healing time after the battle and the travel time to Lothering has no bearing on this situation.
