Iv000
Every time i get near a locked door and my skill level is too low i cant resist and i need to unlock it via console, it ruins the gameplay experience. Please dont post something like "ignore the console", because i cant.Is there a way to disable the console? Thanks PS i know there is a topic about that already, but i cant figure out how to use this "disable key". I know where the fallout.ini is located im not stupid... looks like the command isn't working, try it yourself. I tried disabling the ~ key totally with a keyboard editor and in wordpad etc it is not working but in fallout it is...confused EDIT: Dont take it offensive pls. Wildride300
Easy on it, he is trying to help. Try to google your exact problem. Or even better: Try asking on the Bethesda forums.
Johssy
Additionally, if you can't disable the console an easy fix is to find mods to make it more realistic, like Explosive Entry. I hate it to meet a locked door too, and the console is far too easy to bring up :(

Iv000
well after hours of searching i didn't find anything...So i created my own solution: every time i see a locked door i will hit me in the head till i will forget what i was actually doing...jokeSeriously how hard could it be to disable a button? Most people are heaving problems turning the console on, but I want it off...Since no one can help me i have to search even more...if i find anything ( i suppose i am not the only one who wants it turned off) i will post it as a mod. Wildride300
I am pretty sure posting on the Bethesda site will work. Maybe they got solutions.
