@jaz752; Being a Premium Member doesn't magically improve the throughput of your internet connection. It only removes the "cap" of 1Mbps that non-premium accounts have imposed on them from this end. So if your connection was already below that level... no change.

 

Sorry you don't have a better connection but whatever the problem is, isn't not related to your account type. :confused:

I would like to note, I had to cancel the test because after 17min and only getting to 8.6MB I wasn't going to sit there any longer.
As you can see, something is seriously wrong here. My downloads all start around 57-90kb then the speed drops to 0 and just hangs once I've downloaded between 2.5MB and 3.5MB.

@jaz752; Being a Premium Member doesn't magically improve the throughput of your internet connection. It only removes the "cap" of 1Mbps that non-premium accounts have imposed on them from this end. So if your connection was already below that level... no change.

 

Sorry you don't have a better connection but whatever the problem is, isn't not related to your account type. :confused:

I'm aware of this, I just thought it was worth trying a different server as I only have these speeds for your site and thought it could be specific to the non-premium server. On any other site I try I get 1.5mb/s down easy, up to 2.2mb/s depending on the day. On nexus I get only these 40kb/s speeds no matter what. Nearby friends get 1mb/s+ connections to the exact same downloads I am trying. It is not an issue of my connections overall throughput.

 

Edit: I should mention that prior to about a fortnight ago I was capping out at 1MB/s downloads from the non-premium server.

Yesterday my issues started in the evening 6:30pm, around 3-5am not positive what time it was exactly the DL's started functioning normal for me again and stayed that way until I climbed into bed around 10am. I woke up around 5pm only to find the issue returned with a vengeance, now the DL speed drops to 0 within the first MB of data transferred.

ADDENDUM: I'm trying the 65 MB version in hopes of the test actually finishing. It's not looking good, however. Average download speed starts out fast, and quickly drops to sub-KB levels.
