Illiad86
haha yeah...normally that doesn't happen. You're not supposed to punch or kick people...just shove each other around. But people get ugly after a few drinks  Security guards ran in after they saw I got punched...they really good at The Metro (Chicago venue, right by Wrigley Field :D). They pulled me out and took me down to the medic guy, checked my eye out, gave me a cold pack, few free bottles of water :) Worked out alright, eye was pretty swollen the next day...heh...glad I didn't have to go anywhere :P Really, who would believe a girl went into the pit? :P
MonsterHunterMaster
Omg moshpits...my last one was at the Machine Head concert on february 10th. First played Bleeding Through, it wasn't really hardcore then, but when Hatebreed came on stage, phew, I tell you, worst moshpit I've ever been in. They really heatened the crowd up. I've actually successfully used songs like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWN6hACbpJA or this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sL2whFYwMLI to scare inappropriate co-workers out of the Quality Lab.

Vindekarr
Welcome to the club Illiad. I do that alot. The old geezer up the street often turns on evlis presley music really really loudly on weekends-it so loud you can hear it three blocks away. The police have to called 3 times recently and after they dropped by of their own volition and screamed at him to shut it off it finaly stopped. by a common thing I used to do was turn up my huge speaker setup to just a bit louder than his, he would often turn his up to compensate, and so on, but I had a gazillion jibberwhat amp and the biggest loudest speakers 500 AUD can get you, so I always won. The memories always crack me up though, it was like the lead singers in both recordings were trying to shout eachother into silence. Once you turn up the screamin to a certain point it just becomes funny. And anyway, Its also a great way to keep unwanted visitors out. My study window has a great view of the entire street-and the nice scenic coal fire powerplants further up the valley. So I can see people coming and if they arent people I want to have to talk to, like mailmen and charity collectors, I let em have it with a barrage of old Metallica. Its just like they say: "a rock-out a day keeps the salvation army away"
Illiad86
LMFAO! Nice  Hahah...doesn't seem to keep the Mormons away :P I remember we were cranking Pantera whilst eating dinner, and they still came up to our door. My brother, who's 6'4", both arms covered in tattoos, pierced to all hell lol, opens the door and does "The Rock" eyebrow to them  He said the look on their faces was just priceless lol. I push these poor speakers to the max lol. They can't be more than 30W lol...crappy 2.1 Labtec speakers. Can't complain, found em at the thrift store for $4 :D Doesn't take too much...high ceilings+old buidling=big time echo...lol you can hear people taking a dump/peeing sometimes at night :P *sploosh* lol Ah here's a giggle for all of you :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9CcotpUrB0 almost passed out laughing the first time I saw this..lol Carlton dance :P...lol guy labeled wrong genre...that's goregrind...ergh...sounds like they take a microphone and shove it in a tank of bullfrogs lol :P
