archimagekhan Posted October 28, 2014 Share Posted October 28, 2014 Hello everyone, as my question may reveal, I'm definitely not an expert in anything concerning pc's, programming, modding etc... but after reading some advices here and there, I try to improve my skyrim performances by using different tricks... but there is something I don't know : Iv'e got two skyrim prefs.ini files, one in documents/my game/skyrim, and another one in steam/steamapps/common/skyrim...which one is used by the game? In other terms : which one must I modify in order to change settings? I'm using skse... Thank you for your answer and a very BIG thanks to all modders here for the incredible work... Unless you are Using MO (Mod Orginizer), MO users have to edit the INI files located in the MO "Profiles" folders. Each profile in MO has a seperate set of INI files.
