commissarmike
Sorry if this has been asked. I searched for almost an hour to see if I could figure this out because I don't want to mess it up but could not find an answer to my question exactly.I once had a bunch of mods for FO3 a couple years ago and had a blast with it. I have since wiped my PC and started again. I wanted to start up a new game of FO:NV with some of the awesome mods people have created, but now I see there is Nexus Mod Manager (NMM). I downloaded that thinking it was the replacement but now I am confused..do I need BOTH to properly run mods? Or should I pick one or the other? If so, which would work out better? For instance I looked at the FOOK mod and I want that (had the old version on FO3) but it seems to indicate I need FOMM.Honestly I am just really confused and could use a few clarifications.Thank you in advance for your assistance. I really appreciate it.
Balx2
NMM should be able to handle your FO:NV. As long as it detects the game. Not 100% sure because I only use it for skyrim.
DizzasterJuice
You don't need NMM at all. Just use FOMM, it has no problems with FNV like NMM does.

DaWrecka
I'd personally recommend using Wrye Flash over either one. (The ability to have any number of patches that take up only a single slot in the load order combined is worth its weight in gold, particularly for FNV which is apparently much more sensitive to heavy loading. Also, NMM has no BSA packing or unpacking tools, and it's also lacking a bunch of other tools that FOMM have.
