Thought katashy might like this XD

That's amazing. Not sure how it works, but still amazing.

TNT placed in water doesn't break any blocks. The lines of redstone tied to a switch activates both the top and bottom layer in the secondary chamber. The first explosion pushes all the switch activated tnt into a single space below the car.

There's another video somewhere where a person made a more complicated cannon that can fire 3 at once as well as aim in a fairly wide and long fan with a single switch by using a redstone timer to trigger both the first activation and then a secondary one a few seconds later. That's just the thing with this game, you start out just building defenses to last the night, then find minecarts and redstone, and learn a few things about sand/torch physics, and start making some neat little devices. Depending on what happens with multiplayer, trapped and hidden houses will probably be a common thing.

It'd be really neat to line two of those cannons against each other and see who could disable the other's first. For example, the crew would have to throw some water on any TNT that gets in.

'Course, once they found the right trajectories, it'd be too easy.

have siege games. the castle will have cannons to repell the attackers, while the seiger must move forward and make cannons to bring down the castle.

Finished my greenhouse. Didn't need lava after all, and it's probably for the best in case there's ever an update that makes glass melt.

It's just so nice and cozy inside compared to the area outside. I would have liked to make it taller, but as is I ended up gathering nearly every sand block available in the area. I have not yet found any coastline, just caves, cracks, mountains, and snow.

It looks great

So how long did it take to get all the mats and how long was it to build?

I saw a video of a great auto meat and leather place. this dude had a mob spawner ona single brick surrounded by water on tp of a large tower, the pigs would drown and the stuff would float down to the first floo where the player could come get it all.
