PsiComa
I've just been on a hell of a journey.. an adventure with a level of immersion I have never felt in a game. Wow.. I just need to share my enthusiasm with somebody, as I'm really playing the game for the first time now (yeah, I know four years too late or whatever). But at the moment, I'm happy I waited, to be able to experience the game for the first time, all patched up, with great mods like Frostfall, Wet and Cold, RnD, Interesting NPC's, Immersive Armors, Deadly Dragons and a bunch of other great things. The scenery, the music, all the lore, the (optimized) graphics. Man, I see now what I have been mssing (or waiting for). I also see that the feeling itself is a big part of what Skyrim can offer, and that the experience is better the more you'll able to slow down and take your time with things, and really pay attention to all the details. Are people still playing (and developing) skryrim today?
Hyacathusarullistad
Tons of people are still playing Skyrim, yes. And while official development on the game ceased over a year ago, the modding community is still booming, both here on the Nexus and elsewhere. I've personally been unable to play almost anything else in three years. I took a short break last summer, when I finally took the time to play through the Mass Effect trilogy. But when I finished them I dove right back into Skyrim, and it was like I'd never stopped. I've got over 3300 hours logged since Christmas Day 2011, and that's just playing; never mind the time I've spent browsing the mods database, surfing the forums, and even working on my own little shame- fan-fiction project as well. I can't get enough Skyrim, and I don't see myself overcoming this borderline addiction any time soon.
stuff444
I have nearly 3000 hours played since 2011 and 500 in CK. And as Hyac says many hours of mod surfing and the inevitable trouble shooting :/. I usually mod my game in spurts. I get it stable and play for a while, then get the itch to change things , add new content, and then binge mod (not recommended). :P I'm in the midst of one right now. I've merged maybe 50 .esp's in the last few hours so I can add more mods! So far game runs fine *crosses fingers... Skyrim is without a doubt the best game I've ever played (mods included), without them maybe like 20th? If it wasn't for all the great mods, and the "modability" of the game I would have moved on years ago.
