  1. What problems do you have with EO and crossbows? Works fine on my end.
  2. Also, quest items don't contribute to your carry weight regardless of the weight displayed in the inventory screen.
  3. You can actually build a system that can run Skyrim comfortably, with a modest but respectable mod setup, for around $500 USD. CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor ($62.10 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($42.99 @ Directron) Memory: Kingston 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($25.11 @ SuperBiiz) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($38.66 @ SuperBiiz) Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Black Edition Video Card ($158.99 @ SuperBiiz) Case: HEC Enterprise MicroATX Mid Tower Case ($25.20 @ SuperBiiz) Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($53.10 @ SuperBiiz) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($86.99 @ NCIX US) Total: $493.14, including taxes and shipping. For an extra $100, you could upgrade the processor to an i5-4460 instead.
  4. After a quick scan of the console commands listed on the UESP, there's no console command that can bring up this value. I could have sworn at one point there was, but my memory is by no means perfect.
  5. I download mods in spurts when I start a new playthrough, and it's definitely easy to simply forget to return to the mod page and endorse a mod you enjoyed when you download a dozen of them in a day. But removing the wait period is a bad idea, for the reasons Ben's already outlined. And tinkering with it to make it needlessly complicated or more flexible seems unnecessary. Instead, what about a system that reminds people to come back and endorse a mod? Say, 48 hours after they download a mod, they get a notification on the Nexus linking them back to the mod page to leave an endorsement if they liked it. The time could be configurable, too, for those that would prefer to be reminded as soon as the wait period is over instead of days later.
  6. The command you want is set playerfollowercount to 0.
  7. This mod lets you join the Circle without becoming a werewolf yourself, among other changes.
  8. Considering how this so-called "community" treated some of the people who shaped it into what it is today? I wouldn't blame anyone for stepping out after all this.
  9. This is not a shaming thread. Any shame you feel is your own. This thread exists to pre-empt the countless "WHERE DID THIS MOD GO?!" threads that would pop up without this information being readily accessible. I think Caithe covered anything else I may have had to say more succinctly than I could have hoped to.
  10. Well, that's weird. I will leave it up there for now pending any changes. But if it remains gone for a bout a week, then I will take it off the list. Chesko has removed all his content from the Workshop and does not intend to put it back.
  11. I believe the Skyforge Weapons and Skyforge Shields mods have been removed by the author to prevent them from being stolen and moved to the Workshop. At least, that's what I'm going to hope for the time being, at any rate. It's too early to say, I think, which "side" most authors are going to land in this matter. Unless they specifically announce such a move (which the author of the Skyforge Weapons and Shields mods has not yet done; and it's worth noting that his Dragonbone Ebonsteel armour is still here), all you're doing by speculating is stirring the vicious, angry pot that is the Internet. Not saying this thread is a bad idea, just that we should limit its inclusions to authors who have made clear their positions and intentions, and keep things as factual as possible for the sake of the knowledge itself, not for the sake of criticising or attacking authors or creating a "black list" of mods/authors. The only authors I'm aware of who intend to move continuing production to the Workshop are isoku, who's left fully stable, functional versions of two of his mods here on the Nexus and posted new versions to the Workshop -- note that he has not moved his entire set of work there, given no reason for us to believe he'll do so, and has in fact posted a merged version of some of his "lesser" (for lack of a better term) projects into a single mod that's currently sitting in the Hot Files; and Chesko, who's announced his intentions to maintain a temporary period of Steam-exclusivity for both new and existing projects based on those he collaborates with for any given mod, but is not removing any of his existing mods from the Nexus.
  12. So four months later with no response sort of seems like a no-brainer, but I am in fact still interested in getting this started. Is there a specific reason, something I've done incorrectly, that's keeping people away? Or is it just not of sufficient interest?
  13. ... you're not serious, are you? Falksaar is a marvellous achievement, second to none in dungeon design for sure. But the story is... yeah, sorry, I couldn't disagree with you more on that.
  14. Not really that bad, if it for skyrim only it would do fine. But try ones from the link ( scroll down.) http://www.reddit.com/r/PCMasterRace/wiki/builds Apart from the motherboard, actually, the build I've got isn't all that different than what that link suggests for a "Next-Gen Crusher" build. Keep in mind that the prices listed for my build are in $CAD, whereas the builds you linked to are $USD. Adjusted for that, the parts I have are roughly the same price and have nearly identical specs, from what I can tell; in some cases better (albeit marginally).
