Last couple thoughts and then i am out of Ideas....

Are you actually logged in the computer as an Admin or a user ?

You have tried with Virus software disabled temporally?

Try an different Version of MO , my one before the latest also worked..>> (V1.2.9)

I have 15 EXE's set to load thru MO ...all work including TES5Edit. using 1.2.14..... But were all set-up in the 1.2.9 Version of MO.

I actually went and cmd.exe'd the administrator account open, because while the account I primarily use is an administrator account, I figured that there would be a myriad of reasons for why something went coocoo with the settings/paths/whatever. While doing so, I re-checked all of my settings and permissions, the "run as administrator" ticks and folder security and all that fun stuff. I turned off Avast, and attempted to run it.

Yet again, did not work.

So I tried downloading an older version of MO. I went to 1.2.9, since that's the one you said worked for you and actually a lot of the tutorials for debugging were for. Still, nothing.

Actually, the only thing I managed to succeed in through this whole process is making MO unlock faster, as well as producing .... an error message!

I have literally no idea if fixing whatever this is will solve my issue, but I've reached the point where I'm just going to report it and switch back to NMM. This has been a pervasive issue for over a week now, and it's just such a bummer.

AS that Error states.....""Please send this file to the developer of MO"" i would defiantly go over to the STEP forum and have Tannin (SP) have a look. Sure he or someone there has either seen this or knows whats up....good luck.

Look for TESVEdit_Log.txt in the directory where TESVEDIT is located. It is a log of run attempts with debug info for failed attempts.

maybe Avast is problem. I use it and have the same issue

Any progress on the problem? I tried disabling Avast, and it made no difference.

If it helps, I also have trouble running LOOT. It can run on its own (for the main game and official dlc), and I can get it to OPEN through MO, but if I try to have it sort my load order, it crashes after a few seconds, at the exact same point, without fail, regardless of how many mods I have installed (tested from no mods to around 40-50).
