That can't be right, Aurora lights over this part of the world? The only explanation for this is when a massive solar flar, ones called seames, hit the planet and cause world wide devestation for electrical equipment...I guess Discovery got it wrong again. :laugh:

I was almost scared to here that :ohmy: , I mean the last time that happened we had our power knocked out for a day, if not longer, i remember that.

 

I think it was longer though around 3 days, not sure.

aww sweet...not gonna show up in our area though...did get to see one heck of a show in 2001 up in North Dakota...

 

Normal stuff...the Sun is finally waking up...as long as we don't get the biggun they got in the late 1800s we fine :P Mmm mmm can't wait until more sunspots appear :D

Was it low on the horizon? Turns orange/yellow when it's low. Stupid atmosphere :P

 

Hmmm wonder how those look in a telescope...somebody on the forums the boyfriend is on probably got a shot of it.
