Why is it that this site is always broken??? I have missed out on some good mods because there links are bad (not the modders fault, more less tessources fault)? Why do alot of the page functions not work? Why does every modder like to release there goods here knowing how messed up the site is? What is really going on here? Who runs the site and do they have any clue on how to fix the site? I see this as a BIG problem for both the modder and player as how are we suppose to get new mods or release new mods?? I have seen many topics with other people expressing the same as I and yet nothing changes !! the only thing that changes is the little note by the admin. saying how he is going to vacation or a wedding or about his school.. Who gives a vulk !! Fix the site first and quit talking about poo people could care less about.

Probably something along the lines of kicking you out on your backside...

You can find my response to pretty much your exact same complaint at http://forum.gamingsource.net/index.php?showtopic=21333

I take it from the fact you didn't respond to that thread that you infact don't have a clue about running a high-traffic website or how to code for high-traffic and bandwidth situations. As such you should probably pipe-down before making yourself look more of an idiot than you already have.

Once again you've provided no constructive criticism and, if it continues, I'll probably just end up banning your account (again). If you want to help send in bug reports that actually help me. A bug report isn't something saying "My download failed before completing". A bug report should go something along the lines of.

"Hi,

Whenever I try to download a large mod the download fails before completing.

I am using Internet Explorer 6, Windows XP SP2 and run on dial-up."

I very rarely get proper bug reports and, ergo, they are ignored.

This bug is actually just because the big file server's connection is satured, as such the slowest downloaders (dial-up users) are punted off since the server thinks they're dead connections. Broadband users will have fewer problems.

This is something that I cannot fix without money. It won't be fixed basically. You can fix it yourself by downloading at non-peak times.

Have fun!

It's hilarious that some of the users that complain the most, contribute the least. Just as well, as their 'contributions' quality is equalled in their quantity of their posts.
