Hey, you spelled Khajiit wrong. And I don't think a katana will do any more damage. Woah if it does.

My favorite weapon would probably have to be the Ebony Blade.

Ebony Longsword, & Ebony Bow with silver arrows..

Balanced, Fair, and entirely lethal.

Sadly, in oblivion ebony (non enchanted) does not count for damage to ALL creatures (same as silver) as it did in morrowind..

Not an ebony blade, the Ebony Blade. It's given to you by Mephala after you complete her quest. Heh heh heh. Funny...

Just stepping in here quick. Ottomus was right though, I know bad spelling can sometimes make reading a post very halting, but rather don't point it out everytime Cryo. A lot of our users do not speak english anyway. (Or bethesda-talk) Thanks.

Ottomus, rather PM me in future. :)

And Deathmatch, don't jump in either.

Thanks people.

Aesthetically, I like the look of the plain Steel Longsword on the grace that it bears a resemblence to Boromir's sword in the LotR movie trilogy. But the Fine Steel Longsword is my favorite in terms of looks (though I did acquire Umbra yesterday, but haven't gotten used to the look nor made peace with the rather useless Soul Trap enchantment on it).

My character's Fine Steel longsword is the one that you find laying outside Fort Coldcorn. Pretty nifty for a (what was then) a low-level character fresh out of the Imperial sewer. I further enchanted it to carry it through a little longer in the game until I get an Ebony weapon to supplant it (which then the Fine Steel gets retired into a display case at home).

Gameplay issues at hand, I prefer the Ebony Longsword above all else. Longswords, as a whole, have better reach than any other blade weapon whilst still retaining the stealth-attack capability.

Luciendar from the Myths and Legends mod looks cool. Katanas are nice aswell.

My fighter character has ended up using a Daedric warhammer as her primary weapon (with an enchantment). The nicest thing about it is the combination of the amount of damage it does combined with it's reach. With the use of a couple restore fatigue potions I find that I can effectively swing it contiinuously. (This is actually how two handed weapons like this tend be used in reality according to re-enactors I know.) Since the warhammer does enough damage to force most creatures/npc's to stagger backwards, the effect of the conttinuous swing of the warhammer is that it tends to mean that all except the very largest creatures, e.g. a storm atronach, will be kept far enough away that my character is out of the reach of their melee weapon./claws/etc.

[OFFTOPIC]Okay i'll PM when i have something to say in the future :) [/OFFTOPIC]

I dont actually like any weapon in the game. Only "good" is the Bill's Sword but it weighs too much :(

I prefer playing with my new mage character :P
