ziitch
I've been seeing this a lot lately - it seems that new people use the Articles section like if it was a forum, confused that the Nexus sites do have their own forums for each modifiable game. Perhaps a small notification would clear this up, such as: If your article is more of a question or an open discussion, it is highly recommended to post this as a new topic in the appropriate subforum on the Nexus Forums. Do not worry about re-registration at the forums; when you first registered your username, it is also registered for you across all Nexus sites. Just my two cents on how to reduce the amount of moving on that section...
Pronam
Yep, I see it quite often as well. They even made some red text to indicate to not to use articles if help is required.Still they a lot don't seem to read it <.<. the problem is that some don't even know about the forums and its usage.Maybe it should have some kind of pre-entry where there's a trap if they don't read it thoroughly. (Like OBMM  )
Argomirr
Maybe it should have some kind of pre-entry where there's a trap if they don't read it thoroughly. (Like OBMM  )That would be extremely effective. :P First time I used OBMM I must've ignored the message fifty times until I thought of reading what it said. LHammonds
I think a "trap" would be an excellent idea. Links could be provided to guide the member to the appropriate location. Example: Do you have a question to ask about Oblivion, Fallout 3 or Dragon Age? (<-- these links would take you to the respective general forum) Are you having problems with Oblivion, Fallout 3 or Dragon Age mods? (<-- these links would take you to the respective trouble-shooting forum) Do you have useful information to share such as a tutorial? (<-- this link would take you to the actual Article creation page)
