ub3rman123
I'll see what I can do. There's not much of a different between FO3 melee weapons and Oblivion weapons, is there? Edit: Dang, Blender and NifSkope are giving me errors when I try to open the models.
ZombieUK
Really? Your Nifskope must really not behaving, first not letting ya play with Troll races and now no BoS sword? Its not probs, It is nice that your helping and I really Appreciate it too! It is hard to get help these days on Mods these days unless they involved some Sexy Elf mod/outfit. The Model shouldnt be having any trouble... Ill just try it in my Blender + Nifskope. I do have them as tools but no idea has to use them as just not got round to using them. ub3rman123
I think it might be a problem with the Fallout 3 bit, I uninstalled it again after I found I couldn't port Mehrunes Dagon into FO3. Maybe one needs to have the game installed.. But then, even when it was installed, NifSkope couldn't open Liberty Prime's model.
ZombieUK
Mite want to ask about for that, tho be careful cos Its not exactly allowed to port stuff over from games really. Even discussing it can lead to a immediate ban.
ub3rman123
Nah, that was just for personal use. I wanted to see if Mehrunes could kill Liberty Prime.
LHammonds
I was able to open the 1-H version using NifSkope 1.0.21.4886 without any problem. I was also able to import the NIF into Blender 2.49b (for specific version details and how to install, see this page) I don't have time to do this conversion but my initial look at this makes me think there is very little to "do" but you certainly need to remove all normal map references because Oblivion will not like multiple textures attached to a NiTriStrip node. Based on what I saw, not all of the textures are included in the archive. I assume the weapon is relying on some textures that already exist in Fallout 3...which will have to be re-created for Oblivion (do not port Fallout 3 assets to Oblivion....100% custom models and textures are one thing if you have permission but stock items are never OK to port...for public use) LHammonds
