black square in vampires' eyes

I really do not know when or how my game's vampires started having a black square in their eyes. I hope that someone can help!

Your load order is the most likely cause of your problem. Please use BOSS to sort your load order and Wrye Bash to tie everything together. You should also consider installing OBMM .

I already have OBMM because my load order was scrumbled a year ago. It was the only thing that kinda worked. FCOM helper and BOSS were useless, probably my fault but seriously I don't know. It has been an obstacle ever since. I could not operate neither Apachii Godess Store nor Hentai Mania but worst of all I could not operate Elsweyr the desserts of Anequina. I was ok with it but since it ruined vanilla gameplay... I don't know do you think that deactivating a mod would help?

I will say it again: you load order is all wrong. BOSS will sort that out for you -- I don't see any FCOM entries in your list. What do you mean by BOSS was useless?

Concerning BOSS I followed the instructions and nothing happened. I had tried it in the past and I tried it again an hour ago and nothing happened. The instructions say to run the bat file and a "notes pad" pops. I close it and nothing happens.

Do you have Oblivion installed in the 'Program Files' folder?

Hm. The only thing that I can think of is if the mesh somehow isn't showing the gloss map correctly, and that rarely happens. Do you have any vampire mods?

 

Also, bit of a suggestion on the plugins of your load list- you're using some outdated or lesser-quality mods; the Top 100 isn't the best place to pick up certain mods, because they tend to be old and had the time earn so many endorsements. For instance, Roberts' Male Body is up to V5, Natural Environments is buggy, so I suggest that you get Weather - All Natural as it has NE's weather as an option, along with Enhanced Vegetation. Exnem's Body is okay, but as you are using some HGEC clothing, I suggest going to HGEC as the quality is better, the features aren't as rough, more races have textures based on it, and many armor and clothing mods use it or have some sort of variant based on it. For the replacer, I suggest EVE HGEC Eyecandy Variants or scot's HGEC Clothing Replacer for D Cup, depending on what size you want. There's also HGEC conversions of most of the armor mods you use as well.

Did you actually put the contents of BOSS into your Oblivion Data folder or just try to run it from your download folder?

 

Download extract the contents into your Oblivion Data (should be BOSS.bat BOSS.exe and Masterlist.txt than just run the .bat and from there it will automatically organize your mods than generate a report in your text editor (notepad by default) that's it its that simple....

 

It also helps to update your BOSS Masterlist by other finding the latest one on Google. Or if you have Microsoft Word download B.O.M.M. "Better Organization Masterlist Manager" which is a word macro that automatically contacts the hosting site, downloads the latest Masterlist.txt and overwrites your old one with the new one. :thumbsup:

I did exactly that. I did extract the files in the data folder and then ran the bat file and It's always the same story... nothing happens except for this BOSS-log that pops up. It is very annoying...
