Deleted6227853User
Here's the story i have been playing skyrim for a long time now, what i like to see is fighting a daedric princes itself. i mean it does not have to be the princes itself, but an avatar that look the same as the prince with unique armor or weapon don't have to full set but just a simple Enemy with unique combat sistem and hard to kill. so when we kill get some unique items as a prize. FenderFinger
I could see this happening sort of an "Aedric" questline of sorts. You are tasked to root out some followers of a specific Daedric prince but you get there a little late and you have to fight a like half summoned prince. Because even though our characters are the Dragonborn you can't say we are gods... yet. So fighting Mehrunes Dagon for example would be incredibly difficult. He is big and has four arms. and likes to break things. So it would be incredibly challenging and would be for the way upper levels of a character but I could see it happening. You probably have to go to a specific realm because having our ol' pal Dagon just waggling his over Riften wouldn't be all too nice to the computer. but I think it definitely could be done. With a lot of work mind you but the cool mods always are a lot of work.
Nazgren
Fluff wise there would be absolutely no grounds for it. Dagon had to open an absolute ton of gates all across Cyrodil in order to manifest a weak version of himself. We also wouldn't stand a chance. In oblivion if you attack sheogorath he teleports you about 1000 feet in the air, give or take.

tx12001
Here is the thing....the character ingame is the Dragonborn and unlike other Dragonborns this Dragonborn could have absorbed over 100 Dragonsoul's including the soul of another dragonborn who in his own right has probably absorbed hundreds more and This dragonborn could pottenttially be say a Vampire Lord to boot which would essentially double his power. The Nerevarine was capable of Killing gods and all he was, was the reincarnation of Indorill Nerevar with some powerful artifacts none of which were used to battle 2 of his 3 major foes, the dragonborn on the otherhand has the Soul of an aedra and actually possess inate abilities and at the current time is also in possession of the staff of Magnus or Auriel's Bow and several elder scrolls. by my hypothisois a Daedric Prince or any god not native to Mundus would lose most if not all their divine power upon entering Mundus and be limited to the power of a high level wizard such as a Psjiic or a member of the Telvanni and the only bonuses they would get is if they were monstrous in stature and even within their own realm with all their power there is till little they can do if they can't touch you for reasons such as being to fast, ESO backs up this theory in the final battle and in the SI, The first thing Sheogorath does is cast paralysis and why? because if he didn't you would probably of gotton away and he would not have been able to catch you. All in all a fully powered and trained Dragonborn would stand quite a good chance against a Daedric Prince of course you cant kill a daedric prince like that but still, hell he beat Alduin the world eater and even Clavicus Vile compared the dragonborn in power to himself. 00Zer0
It's said that the eye of Magnus can un-make the world..., so can't it un-make Oblivion? I'm sure that the Daedric princes (Not all at the same time) Wouldn't stad a chance if the Dragonborn allied to the most powerful wizards turned against them. Also, i think Jyggalag is kinda pissed off, so he could help kill the other princes and become the only daedra. If this can happen in your head, it's possible! quote643
This thought has been floating around in my head too but with a bit of a different path The player goes through the game as normal but at multiple times he sees the fate of the world not be decided by the ones who fight and die for change and instead the world is dictated by the gods who decide who wins each battle and war, who lives and who dies, and as such the world belongs to them. The victories of man are not victories because of the hardships faced by great people, but victories because the gods tipped fate in their favor. The people of the world are pawns and games for the gods, some even using their most devout for horrid experiments. (I'm not sure where to take this idea from here I will try to update this when I have thought of something) P.S: I am fully aware that this isn't entirely lore friendly, but hey it's still a better story than the civil war.
