DEATHWALKER95
So I got the game a while ago and didnt try to play until today. It didnt start so i looked and it needed gfwl so i downloaded that and it said installed but that will not open so then i tried launching fallout and it crashed before anything. So then i looked and downloaded a gfwl disabler which worked and fallout 3 launched but then when i click new game it loads for a few seconds and then crashes. Please help me find a solution. iXenite
Have you edited your INI file to force your game to only use two cores? If not, he Updated version of the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch does it for you. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/19122/? If you need more help, this guide may be able to help you out: http://steamcommunity.com//sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=149946772
M48A5
Your main problem is here "integrated graphics" The ability to run Fallout:New Vegas has no bearing on your ability to run Fallout 3. They are two different games, developed at two different time periods, with different equipment available. You can try these: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1465357-installing-fallout-3-with-windows-78-and-xp/ and http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/20653/? Good luck. iXenite
By the way, there is also this. It helped me a lot when I played Fallout 3 on my laptop a long time ago (it helps with the Integrated Graphics thing). http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/17209/? @M48A5 I would think it would make some difference. I mean Fallout 3 is an older game, and it runs on the same engine (and uses many of the same assets) as New Vegas. The only really big difference is the development houses that made the games. But that's just my thoughts on that. Edited November 10, 2014 by DaddyDirection

DEATHWALKER95
I cannot get gfwl to even work on my computer thats part of the issue when i download and instal it doesnt open and it never has for any game. So if i download the gfwl disabler i can get the game to start up but then when i click new game it fails and crashes. i am about to try a combonation of some fixes, the disabler of gfwl and the integrated graphics fix to see if this works
iXenite
Don't forget the INI edits that come with the Unofficial Patch I linked. Fallout 3 will not run on more than 2 cores.
