Mabra51
Hi, i made the wrong choices with the two last ranks of the intense training perk, and i plan on correcting that with console commands (decrease luck by 2 and increase perception by 2), but i don't know if i should use SetAV or ForceAV, since i have no idea in what they differ. What should i use?
ArekkusuStorm
No idea what setav is, there's a modav and forceav. Edit: -snip- Forceav lets you set the amount of a stat or skill, so you can type player.forceav luck 5(if it was 7) or For modav, it would be player.modav luck -2. Mabra51
No idea what setav is, there's a modav and forceav. Edit: Oh... Did some research and they're basically the same but some people had problems with using setav for certain things. Forceav lets you set the amount of a stat or skill, so you can type player.forceav luck 5(if it was 7) or For modav, it would be player.modav luck -2. ModAV is different, it had a permanent modifier to the stat (showing a + or - next to it) But i want it to be like if had chosen the right stat to increase from the start, without a modifier. Hatemiser
I believe setav and forceav will render the value frozen,as in no longer dynamic. Try modav.
Mabra51
I found this on the UESP of Skyrim console commands, but i don't know if the same goes for gamebryo console commands. ForceAV modifies the attribute value by registering a permanent modifier (positive or negative) of the ammount required to force the attribute to the stated value. Displayed player attributes modified in this way will be highlighted (default is green text) to indicate a modifier ('buff' or 'debuff') is being applied. ModAV modifies the attribute value by registering a permanent modifier (positive or negative) of the value stated. Displayed player attributes modified in this way will be highlighted (default is green text) to indicate a modifier ('buff' or 'debuff') is being applied. SetAV sets the level value of the attribute to the stated value SetAV seems like the one i need to use. And if you are playing a Fallout game the Skyrim wiki is useless. They are not the same games and coding, etc is not the same. The Fallouts and Oblivion are similar and their wiki info often overlaps, but Beth rebuilt the engine for Skryim and created a new scripting language, etc for Skyrim. To use ModAV just add a positive or negative number to get what you want. Wiki link to functions so you understand how Fallout stuff works (for modders). The Vault link to console commands for Fallouts (for players).ForceAV with a discussion about how to handle player values. This comes up a lot in modding for the Fallouts.
