Mage Guild Questcheydinhal - Problem

Hi guys, I'm new to tthese forums.

 

I'm trying to get all the recommendations from the different Mage guilds, but I've got a problem with the Cheydinhal-quest. I was asked to get this heavy ring out of the fountain. When I saw that the ring was too heavy for me to carry, I went out of the fountain, threw some things away and re-entered, but suddenly the corpse of the guy who's got the ring was gone. I already applied the patch, but the bug isn't solved,

 

Did anyone write a fix for this quest ?

Unless I am mistaken, were you not meant to speak to the female argonian in the guild before going to fetch the ring?

Did you pick up the ring first? If so just go and speak to the female Argonian and the quest will be solved.

No, I don't have the ring. I couldn't carry it when I entered the fountain first. I went back there and the corpse of the guy who drowned in the fountain was gone and he's got the ring.

 

This must be a bug.

 

I also talked to Deetsan and Trayvond, but my problem still exists.

I've never heard of this happening before... If the guy who drowned in the well is gone... I really don't know. The only thing I can suggest is saving a lot on different files in the future in case something else like this happens again... Personally, I just dropped everything in the well so I wouldn't have to leave, so I don't know.

Hey u luky u got the Ring, i cant even enter that dam door in the basement, it says i require a key, but wat freakin key, i completed all the mages guild except the cheydinhal 1, some pls help!!

talk to the lizard lady (Deet-san) when Falcar is far away from her.
