Domas
I can't seem to enter Slof's Goth Shop (Hand of ...? forgot :pinch:) without trespassing. The door is ALWAYS red. I've waited until night, noon, 2-3 days in case of holiday, nothing works. I even tried reinstalling it. Obviously installed the Better Cities patch for slof's AFTER the original. Any ideas? Hickory
Does the BC patch require a C.Owner tag for your Bashed Patch? Did you rebuild your patch?
Domas
Does the BC patch require a C.Owner tag for your Bashed Patch? Did you rebuild your patch? Not as per the automatic BOSS tag. Yes my patch was rebuilt, but I'm about to redo it according to the advice you gave on the other thread. I'll update when it's done whether or not that worked. EDIT: Alas, the bashed patch and reinstall of slof's didn't work. The door is still marked red and I can only trespass. What's also weird is that it's never locked. Day or night. Domas
Double post, I know, sorry.Tried uninstalling Better Cities and Slof's, Reinstalling Slofs, then Better Cities and the Slof compatible esp including with Better Cities. Did this through OBMM. Still doesn't work after that AND the bashed patch. Might just give up on it. Would have been a good mod to support my demon race warrior-type build. Ranokoa
Here's what you do if all else fails. Open up the Construction Set, load Slof's Goth Shop and set as Active. Find the ID in the Interiors window (Or for faster looking click on Name so it goes alphabetically by name and just search for the name then click on it.) Right click on the interior. Set ownership to None, or Player. Ensure that the OffLimits tag is absolutely NOT checked. Save. Preferably None rather than Player, as that enables exploitation... but so does None... It's really just up to self control not to loot the place. If this helps feel free to Kudos to show appreciation if you feel it worth it, otherwise still feel free to... Be well, sleep well, fight well, live long.~Ranokoa

Ranokoa
The owner may not be able to lock up, but you could always just script the door (with a new ID) to get gamehour, and at a certain hour automatically lock, then at the other right hour unlock. When there are weird bugs like this just changing it in simple ways to fix it is always easy and a lot of the times the least stressful answer. Your solution is far from "simple ways" to most people. When it's a simple conflict, like the Mystic Emporium / DLC Frostcrag bug (exact same problem), where ownership is the culprit, it needs no extra script solution. Domas
I simply opened the esp as active in the CS, found the cell, and set it to Open to Public or whatever. Works fine, now I can finally get the NPC to sell me stuff. EDIT: I don't really care if he locks up or not.. Or for that matter any store locks up. Sure it adds realism, but it's kind of pointless when all I have to do is "wait" 8 or 10 game hours.
