File Download configurations

I have noticed a annoying change when it comes to uploading and downloading files.

Like the Main, Updates, Misc and Old versions are all on top another.

When Editing your files they look just fine side by side. They are easy to destinquish and manage, but when veiwing them on their public pages... nuh uh.

I just had complains from people who downloaded for the first time that they dont know what files to download.

Yes I may have a few too many files but i sorted that out but still it can be confusing to new comers on any of the Nexus sites (fo3, Obliv and DA.)

Whats with this new file view? The old one was more simplier and in a way Atractive.

Sorry to moan about it. It was just as effective as it always has.

If this a Necessary update due to Site security issues due to the recent Site hacking by the Ukraine incident then my Apoligies.

Zombie.

  • 2 weeks later...

Yeah I was just about to say... it looks fine to me.

Then again everything always looks fine on a big monitor (Except old games that play in 4:3 ratio... ¬_¬!)

Glad to see your still loving Oblivion... I still need to find a way to kick myself back to playing it =/

Got on PS3 and PC and STILL can't be bothered playing haha. I blame the hours of gameplay I used to have on it =P

To get them working:

Download the mod

Open the file with WinRAR (A very good zip file program very commonly used)

Drag the contents into your Fallout 3 Data directory... it is usually

C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks (Or bethesda)\Fallout 3\Data

Now depending on what you use, open Fallout Launcher and click on Data files and tick the mod you've just added. Then play =D

if you are using FOMM (Fallout mod manager) then simply tick it and click launch.

It really is that simple. When you've done it once or twice you'll be a pro ;)

To put on memory stick:

Download the mod.

Plug in a memory stick to your computer and open it.

Copy or Cut and then paste the mod into the memory stick directory.

[[However... why would you want to put them onto a memory stick????]]

He propabaly is using a pupblic cpu or somebody else's and wants to download mods to put onto his comp later.

Thats what i do. use a memory stick.

KD I use 2 cpus to mod. this one Im on now is downstairs, my Gaming CPu is upstairs.

For some stupid reason, it will not connect to the internet due to some stupid incompatabilities, so I use this one to use the internet. £50 job too this cpu.

Anyhoo, best lock this thread or delete cos its just taking upspace.

Im done with it anyway.
