MidbossVyers
I posted another thread talking about the male villager mesh issue after I activated Robert's male replacer. That the clothing meshes for male "villager" NPCs, such as Rufio, the innkeepers and shopkeepers, and even the some of the beggars, has disappeared, resulting in them being see-through when clothed. 1 possible fix, I think, is to simply reinstall the original male villager meshes. However, I need resources and instructions for those. Can someone please provide? Thanks in advance.
David Brasher
Vanilla Oblivion resides on your CD and in your install. You have everything you need. Mods override vanilla Oblivion. Remove the mods and you are back to vanilla Oblivion. This is not a question of installing things, for they are already there. You need but remove that which is troubling you and things will be right once again. Find the meshes named the same as the vanilla Oblivion clothing meshes, rename to disable, or delete, and you shall be free.
MidbossVyers
Then which files (the file address) controls the clothing of the male Felldew addicts, that weird-talking guy in Dementia, the beggars, and Rufio? I think the items in question are the course linen clothing set.
Hickory
You need to uninstall the mod that caused these problems -- it is a botched install that has caused this, and unless you address it, you are asking for continuing headaches. Once you have completely removed the meshes/textures that are overriding the vanilla ones, reinstall Robert's Male Body v5 (via OBMM or BAIN, so that you get it right). David Brasher
Rufio wears: LowerPants04Oblivion\data\meshes\clothes\lowerclass\04\m\pants.nif Oblivion\data\Textures\clothes\lowerclass\pants04m.dds LowerShirt04 Oblivion\data\meshes\clothes\lowerclass\04\m\shirt.nifOblivion\data\Textures\clothes\lowerclass\shirt04m.dds LowerShoes04 Oblivion\data\meshes\clothes\lowerclass\04\m\shoes.nifOblivion\data\Textures\clothes\lowerclass\shoes04m.dds Note that this is only the male versions, only the wearable and not ground versions, only the ordinary .dds and not the normal map or glow map, and this is only what Rufio wears. Some of the other lower class people you mention might be wearing other things. To find all your information, you might have to do lots of research in the Construction Set, File Manager, and even NifSkope. Or you might do better to do a complete removal and reinstallation of the bad mod, or just a permanent removal of it.
LFact
Some notes:- Make sure you installed body replacer and clothing replacer correctly, and did archive invalidation.- The textures won't be under \data unless you're using any clothing item texture replacer(if there's one). They're all packed into .bsa file.(so you won't mess with them normally)
