Possible to create LOD for specific objects

Hi,

I wonder if someone knows how to create LOD for buildings and other architecture objects and wouldnt mind to share how to? I do know that there is a nice guide for how to creat them for Oblivion (http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45631/?) but either I messed up when I tried to do that in Morrowind or there is need for another strategy.

MGE / MGE XE will use the standard meshes, you need to set the static size low enough when generating distant land for small objects.

 

You can create *_dist.nif meshes and MGE / MGE XE will use those by preference. The "*" bit of the mesh name needs to match an existing model. Have a look at Piratelord's Distant Lights (on Nexus) for an example.
