Some of these keys don't seem to do anything either. Hmmm I haven't found any of those; mostly just house keys, and they never have anything good in there... Do you have any specific examples? Malchik Posted July 18, 2006 Share Posted July 18, 2006 Couple of points to remember - are you getting into places by using spells or picking locks. If so the key could well unlock what you have already opened. And you may have done it a while before so you have forgotten. IIRC there were several 'rusty keys' in Morrowind that seemed to have no real purpose so perhaps it is a tradition. There is one key-chain in an unscripted quest. To find it you need to explore outside the ruins at Pale Pass. I think there are three keys but you need quite a lot of patience to locate the chests.
