Or use the console "unlock" and see how messed up a game can become =3

Yep it is.

Can only be started AFTER "Take it back!"

Unless you use console and mess with the game.

I did that for Oblivion once. I saved Urial Septim from assassination ^_^

And the game didn't carry on playing! Pfft!

It's fun messing with quests that you really shouldn't

Might I take a shot in the dark and say you have Fallout Street Lights? 'cus that have a glitch or bug or what-have-you that makes the poles at Jefferson stay in Broken Steel.
