Timberwolftrass2005
i'm not really sure if this actually belongs here but... I have encountered a problem with saving my game in Oblivion... While loading a saved game is rather quick, saving a game takes me for some reason a total of 1 minute and 40 seconds... yes, i timed it. i have no idea where the problem lies and was hoping to find help here. my playtime with my latest save file is 438:55:39 no idea if that has something to do with it, just htought i'd mention it here. Megatarius
You might have a mod that causes save game bloat. I think you can remove bloat with Wrye Bash.
Vindekarr
Too many saves and potentialy an overstuffed Hard Drive. Try running Disc Cleanup Wizard too-it's slow but it WILL help you clear out a ton of nonsense data, old logs and stuff. I think the problem is your poor comp is just so fat on data it's ready to pop, so do the old thing a favour and unstuff it a bit!
bben46
Do you have any mods that increase the amount of stuff you can carry? A large (huge) inventory can cause some slowdown in saving. There are also some mods that can cause save game bloat - check your save game file sizes to see if they are growing at a fast rate.
sfiman
Got the same thing, but saving a game takes around 5 minutes!!!
HeyYou
How large are you save files? And how many hours on that particular save?
