Hmm... I thought that they made umbra the best. Will have to look in the CS for what is the best weapon. Although I guess that also depends on if you mean best for your character, best in damage, best in speed, etc...

Edit: Just checked. Umbra has a damage of 28 while Goldbrand only has a damage rating of 25. So if you are talking about damage only, then Umbra is better.

There is no best weapon. Depends on your playing style and what weapon you prefer. I swap weapons depending on the quest type and enemy type.

but i always stick with 1 weapon. Mezlos Katana bcause its fast and it does 266 damage how could anybody do better.

...c) Are you afflicted with Tourette's, or are you under the sad delusion that a meandering train of thought somehow makes you a credible source and an interesting person?

1) What?

2) You don't see the point. You can have deadly charges on your weapons, and have grand soul gems on hand to fill it up if it goes dead.

You're saying that I missed the point? What is the sense in setting up the enchantment of a weapon that will leave behind a sizeable remainder of Magicka that cannot be utilized when everything goes hot and heavy?

And Switch: between the two of us concerned here, I'm not the one who once demanded of another forumite a sacrifice to appease my 'bunghole'. Odd, that you deign that I'm the one here in need of behavioral modification.

I try to stay away from those uber weapons, i think it makes the game boring really quickly. I usually pick a weapon on looks for modded ones (just as long as its not too over the top), since i know the modder will always make his/her weapon pretty strong.

1. pegasus, 2. the one with ayeliad (spelling) stones in them 3. elven simitar.

For vanilla:

1. eltonbrand, 2. deadric weps. 3. the blue glass sword (quest reward)

as you can see umbra is not on the list....i traded it in for the helm, pillock!

OK:

1) Don't you see? I am the great Cornholio! It is my bunghole! Besides, it was a joke. No more candy for me!

2) I just realized that you can't enchant an item with too much power in it. Though I just enchanted an Akaviri Katana with a deadly enchantment, and it took five hits to murder someone. The hits, even though the low number (34) get ignored by the amount of hits needed to kill something (5 (as in this case) or lower), so, really, to make up for the loss of uses, it has a powerful punch.
