MKSaibot
The original post was too long, Do you level Enchanting without using the console or beneficial mods for your long term character play through's? 0nelazyBattlemaga
Nope. How long would it take to have two enchantments if you did not cheat a little?

GeneralPallas
Yes, and it takes what seems like forever to get it to 100.

saurusmaximus
I think the highest I ever got the Enchanting skill was in the 70's, but I didn't get most of the perks 'cause I had better places for those  . Ditto with the Smithing tree.
Amyr
Why do you guys feel the need to use console, I don't get it? I've never had a problem with enchanthing tree. But then again I'm using a mod called Enchanting Awakened and I think it's fairly well balanced. Plus, I always use trainers. Deleted3507349User
I don't use trainers, standing stoness or cheats, I just do it (if a particular character has the interest). Making daggers to level up smithing and then enchanting them works well. Get yourself a supply of petty and lesser soul gems and a bow with soul trap on it. It doesn't really take all that long. Lord Garon
No, but I play Mages, mostly. Takes the fun out of it, for me. I just enchant stuff as I go along and every-once-in-a-while it eventually hits 100. I don't like grinding skills, so I just don't. Not sure why you would console Enchanting (or any skill); it just breaks the game. I use difficulty mods because the basic game is too easy (after playing for so long). Consoling up skills just breaks the game AND the difficulty mods. EDIT: The "No" was in response to your original post. I don't use the console for anything but troubleshooting. See I completely agree with this, The motive or reasoning behind the thread I have made here which I do appreciate the replies, is this. I downloaded Undeath, ok so what right? Well part of the thing I love about the mod already is that it does not even begin until you reach level 30 AND you haft to have 100 Enchanting. You know what, I'm doing it, it will give me something to stream or make a video series out of. I am going to need a simple keybind mod though that is it. I know with like Better Vampires you can set keys for abilities but I am not making my necromancer a vampire so if anyone has any suggestions for a keybind mod. All I am gonna need is to be able to bind Ctrl and Shift keys, for example Shift+1, Shift+2, Shift+3, Shift+4, Shift+5, Ctrl+r, Ctrl+c, Ctrl+v. I want to use the menus as little as possible and when playing a pure caster on Master with difficulty mods without 100 Enchanting I want full keybinds, its far more streamlined. Ebony Flesh, Ward, Fast Healing, Heal Other, Frost Spear, Fire Ball, Paralyze, Raise Dread Zombie, Summon something, Incinerate, then I know their are projectile poison/dmg over time spells in Undeath that I know of so far which like Poison Rune stack which is awesomeness. I mean their is a lot of things like Command Undead, Turn Deadra or whatever, then potions, ill be using a lot of magicka potions. I will chug health potions and I never like doing that unless I am playing a thief or assassin type character that uses alchemy. Funny enough a legit full play through might actually change my characters build at least until I get 100 Enchanting. Then I can legitimately change my perks thanks to Dragonborn. So it should be interesting, will see if I stick with it, I hope I do. Edited December 6, 2014 by MKSaibot
