Hello, I have been a long time fan of the site and aside from a few little annoyances I really find this to be one of the best sites for mods and a solid gaming community. A few things I would like to suggest if I may are as follows...

 

Please separate the DAO and DA2 mods...I am constantly getting the mods mixed up when I download and not having a fast or reliable internet connection it can be quite the annoyance to have to go into the file and read through the articles to see if it is meant for Origins or 2.

 

I am sure this second one cannot be addressed or helped but is there any possible way to cut down on the ads? I mean almost every download I have a 30+ second ad to sit through.

There are already things you can do to help with both of these issues.

 

Regarding "DA / DA2" mods; you can use the "Catagories" option of the Search function, as shown below:

While not every mod author has identified the category of the mod, you can be pretty sure that those listed for DA2 are, in fact, for that game. :laugh:

 

And regarding the adverts; those are the major source of financial support that make your "Free Downloads" possible. If they really bother you that much, you can become a Premium Member, and enjoy the Nexus totally "ad-free"! :thumbsup:

The official language of the Nexus sites is English and English should be the primary language used at all times. We reserve the right to remove any content from the Nexus sites that isn't written in English.

 

It would be beyond the capbility of the (very small) Nexus Staff to adequately mangage these sites if we had to do so in other languages.

 

(It's barely possible for us to do so in the one language we all seem to be able to use more-or-less adequately. :tongue: )

Not sure if this been suggested yet. But any chance you could check this ?? If a file is smaller then certain MB you are not allowed to chose download server, this will make it impossible to download till a certain period is met. but maybe making all download big and small chose server ??

First time mod user. Could you direct me to how exactly to put the files where they need to go to be used? Example, downloading the File of the Month Stealth Suit, I can click the box...but how do I get to a point to actually use it or even see it? Same with the Willow mod. Just trying to find where to put stuff and how to use it in game. Thanks.

The answer depends greatly upon which game you're playing. Probably best to visit the "Mod Talk" or "Tech Support" forums for that game, or see if there's a Nexus Wiki article for you. (Here's the one on Using Dragon Age Mods for Dummies). :thumbsup:

I'm having a problem with the sites new look and function. I can't downlaod anything. How do I download a mod? At the moment I'm really not liking the new look of the site.

 

When I click the download button nothing happens. Same thing when I click the files button. Maybe its just their site is having some problems?

 

Any advice of information would be helpful. :biggrin:

Hi Joe__Kline : at this time there is somme little 'bugs" ... especialy with IE8 and Windows7 ...

 

Try twice ... it works for me .

 

The only thing that doesn't works is the "Comment-section" ; i'm not able to access in that section.
