You need to be much more specific than "Majority of Mods" and "Doesn't work."

Clearly something is going wrong, but without more to go on it is very difficult to diagnose.

However, there is a wonderful utility out there they may be just what you need. It was designed to make using mods easier...

OK, when attempting to troubleshoot a problem, you need to be VERY specific.

We don't know what you have tried, what IS working, and what is not. I know it is frustrating. Try to be patient. Somebody here will be able to figure it out...

What "Did not work" about Midas? I am not familiar with Alternate Start, never use it, so I would not be able to help with that.

Start off by saying which version of Windows you are using. This sounds like it may be a common problem with Vista or Windows 7...

You STILL have not said what "Won't Work."

However, I don't think anybody is going to be able to help you on these forums as long as you have a cracked version of Oblivon.

There are very specific rules on Nexus about Piracy, and that, unfortunately, falls under the category of "Piracy."

Middas Spells doesnt as well as a Mod that i made. Not cracked as in stolen just so you dont have to have the cd in the cd player. Im unfimiliar with the modlist.txt as it is not in the data folder as well as im not sure by what you mean by wrong you mean what about the mod is wrong because if i knew i would be asking.

Although I don't think a NoDVD patch is illegal, it certainly isn't going to help when troubleshooting. It certainly is not supported at the Nexus. Get rid of the NoDVD patch and use the original Oblivion.exe before doing anything else.

Also, by saying you have the "latest version", nobody here will believe you. Even though you are beating around the bush as to what "exactly" is the problem, it sounds like you are trying to say that the mods act as if they are not activated in the Oblivion Launcher's "Data Files" section. If you do have checkmarks beside the plugins and they are not changing anything in the game, that almost guarentees that you are NOT running the latest version...or any patched version for that matter. When you start Oblivion and reach the menu, look to the lower-left corner of the screen and tell us what number you see...EXACTLY as it is shown. You might want to verify this number BEFORE and AFTER your restore your original Oblivion.exe before you replaced it with the NoDVD patch.

OK, back to Midas.

Midas does not automatically install a bunch of spells... You have to work for them.

What about this mod leads you to believe that it "Doesn't Work?"

By the way, Lhammonds is right. I've heard nothing but bad things from people about using the Crack. I know a couple of people that tried it. It may seem like a good idea, but in the long run only causes trouble. Bit the bullet; put the CD in the Tray...
