SepulchureX
So... yeah, that's me again. And again i have a problem. Fallout New Vegas without mods worked pretty well on my computer. 60 FPS or more, fine. After installing all the mods, it was like 35-45 FPS, better in interiors. I have NVSE, NVAC, Stutter Remover and FNV4GB installed. It was rather good, but after few days it dropped to 25-35, worse in big interiors. After playing with it another few days (i just thought it was normal) i uninstalled Monster Mod, because my game was too hard with it. I preferred game on very hard without MoMod. And, surprisingly, after launch my game was on 60 FPS as without mods (To be certain, 58 FPS. That is my cap in Stutter Remover). But, after twenty minutes of gameplay it changed back to 25-35. But now i know it's not normal and it should be at high FPS. So, can someone give me some tips? Ini tweaks or settings changes? Whatever? Thanks in advance, and here is my load order... jaredl
Hard to say really. Mods that use scripts can reduce performance. I know EVE can be a performance killer but generally only when the effects are going on. More NPCs will reduce frame rate. Your best bet is to try disabling mods one at a time to see if anything in particular is causing the issue. 2much4l1
Maybe your pc is underclocking because of overheating.
SepulchureX
My PC is only warm when i'm playing, nothing special. And, about disabling mods... i dunno. I had two weeks of fighting with mods to get everything working, so i don't want to do it. And i guess EVE is not a problem. My FPS' aren't going down when effects are occuring, it's not that problem. Anyway, thanks for the responds and i'm waiting for next. ^^
awsomeman135
Nevada skies may be causing it. Try disabling it. Also, would you kindly list your computer specs?
Biervampir
Nevada skies may be causing it. Try disabling it. Also, would you kindly list your computer specs? :blush:That's exactly what we need. Cause my experiences with, someone say, he/she have a good PC, it has 1GB VRAM and 6-8GB RAM an old I5 Prozessor and so on...Personally, I think your computer need's an hardwear upgrade. I would say:RAM can help u with handling more Mods and more NPCs. (but if u have 6GB it's fine, 8G wouldn't make much more differenz)Graphic card can help u with Textures, NPCs, more smooth game experience/FPS, handling more Mods.If u have an old Motherbord, u should upgrade that! but I'm no expert on PC Hardwear, but I'm pretty sure that I have some Know-how Edited December 13, 2014 by Biervampir
SepulchureX
Well, i cannot tell you exact specs in a while, but there's what i have: RAM: 8 GB KingstonProcessor: AMD FX-6100 Six-Core Processor 3.30 GHzGraphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB VRAM. I know it's not best, but if it gives me 100 FPS in Battlefield 3 on ultra, i guess it could handle modded New Vegas. And about disabling Nevada Skies... I'd prefer not to, darker nights are great. But if that's the thing, i'll disable it.

But if that's the thing, i'll disable it.If u have a Windows PC,you go to Controll panel - System & Security - System.[sry if I didn't call them right, It's free translated from german to english) All in all, your PC looks good. VRAM could be better, but it is completely sufficient.By AMD, i don't know if it's allready overclocked, but it should be possible to do.Further to, do you have an ENB installed? If u want to have some Mods that supports your game:Zan AutoPurge Crash Protector - New Vegas EditionNew Vegas Stutter RemoverNVAC - New Vegas Anti CrashNV Stutter Remover could u get more FPS but don't have to. Also I can recommend to every one Wrye Bash!It solved much Problems for me. Sometimes it causes some, but the solution is, to activate the .ESM .I woudl defenetly try it out. Mostly you will get a FPS drop, if much things are to loaded, for example much NPCs or much Clutters, also some Objects that Physically reacts.I couldn't find a mod that add's much more NPCs or something like that, in your game. But i don't know every Mod u have installen.[Electro City, perhaps FCO]
SepulchureX
I have NVAC and Stutter Remover, but i haven't tried Zan AutoPurge yet. I'll install it. And, about Wrye Bash. Honestly... i don't know how to use it. It's probably very easy, but without tutorial i rather won't try.
Biervampir
A tutorial would be good. But as far i notize of Wrye Bash is, that it makes mods "cuddly", also it take's patch mods into the Bashed Patch. Step 1: Install Wrye bash into your New Vegas Folder.Step 2: Copie "Bashed Patch, 0.esp" from "D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Mopy\templates" to "D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data".Step 3: Open Wyre Bash for NVStep 4: Right click on "Bashed Patch, 0.esp" - click on Rebuild PatchStep 4.1: Some mods get deactivated, that's totally fine! The mod is still working!Step 4.2: Some mods can't work in the Wyre Bash (for example "No Energy Weapons"), but most of the mod's still works.Step 5: "Bashed Patch, 0.esp" should be the last .ESP to load. note: If Wyre Bash says "OK" u mostly click on "OK".
