Sebiale
Is there a mod that can either:A) Make the effect of negative moral decisions on party members less.B) Remove the effect of negative morality? What I mean is that the mod could, in the case of a situation where approval would go down, either lessen how much is lost, or remove it entirely. Or in the case of the Sacred Ashes decision, keep party members from leaving? Kind of like Apathetic Morrigan, but for all companions?
RustyBlade
You could try the Dragon Age Mutator 014 as it has an option to make the companions like you faster and you could also benefit from Innodils Pocket Plane Party Camp as the merchants (reloadable merchants) there sell companion gifts. Neither will stop the approval from dropping but you stand a better chance of raising it back up. I know of no mod that will stop them from leaving once you cross their crisis level but you can always bring them back with the console command runscript zz_addparty NPCname. Thandal
And, of course, the Feastday Gifts are an easy way to recover from unintended gaffs if you don't want to learn to manipulate the game via the command console. (Yes, I know. "Paid-for DLC that was a waste of money." Wouldn't buy it again... except... it was practically free and the Combo Pack included both the Uncrushable Pigeon and the Pet Rock! How can you not love the picture of Shale with a Pet Rock? Or Zev being handed a Chastity Belt, for that matter!?! :teehee: ) But as RB said, that won't correct the unforgivable errors. Pissing in the urn, or telling someone that you let Flemeth live, (a MRP extra!) or recruiting a certain new Warden, all are guaranteed Party-Breakers. In those kinds of cases, the only choices are "Deal with the consequences", "Reload an earlier save", or "Toolset".
LancelotLoire
You would need to edit the dialogs for people and modify the attributes for possible decisions from there. With a question or objective giving options I will go at this from a more complex system then what dragon age uses. Paragon +, Affection +Paragon +, Affection -Paragon -, Affection +Paragon -, Affection -Renegade +, Affection +Renegade +, Affection -Renegade -, Affection +Renegade -, Affection -This system is of course from Mass Effect 2. Each character likes a certain type of thing and so for a quick example of how this plays out on dragon age with the sacred ashes.. Piss on sacred ashes:::: Leliana -affection, Wynne -affection, Alistair -affection, Morrigan +affection take sacred ashes and leave it alone::: Leliana +affection, Wynne +affection, Alistair +affection You would need to go through each dialog option and modify the affection change for each affection modifying choice. For a party conversation style it's a hell of a lot easier with a simple Option A: - affection, Option B: + affection, Option C: no change
DarkeWolf
http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=205there's also da beguiler which allows you to add/remove approval points to/from the characters in 10 point or 100 point increments

Feastday garbage won't give them to you either.

I'll have to go back and re-run the experiment, but I'm pretty sure that I saw Sten shoot straight from "Neutral" to "Massive Strength" when I ... ... gave him the Qunari Prayer Book. (He's the only one I just don't like slogging through the stages to get to even half-like me! )

As for Sten, most of the time I have him friendly and with Asala by the 2nd time I make camp. Then it's just stand over there, be quiet and look imposing

Then it's just stand over there, be quiet and look imposing :wink:I used to do the same. Then I discovered he has some of the best intra-Party Banter, especially with Leli and Alistair! Sebiale
So no mods that can keep a party member from leaving after a critical choice?
