Eiries
If you've done the majority of the Dark Brotherhood quests, then steal Lucien Lachance's pad, Fort Farragut. It's big, it's got storage, it's got a bed, and easily avoided guards that want to rip your head off. Oh yeah, and a barrel of poisoned apples. And if you haven't figured it out, there's a secret entrance to Farragut hollowed out in a nearby tree. It's almost as if it was meant to be your home... Rhydderch Hael
Do the Mephala Shrine quest, and then you'll end up with a few houses in Bleaker's Way. Weynon Priory becomes 'open' a little ways into the Main Quest— by which i mean none of the items you take there will be marked as stolen, and I suspect the chest Jauffre unlocks for you does not respawn, making it safe to store items. Close to Chorrol without actually being in Chorrol, you avoid contact with guards.

Rhydderch Hael
Another little "haven" can pop up in the Imperial City's Waterfront— the pirate galleon Marie Elena. Kill everyone on board including (especially) the ship's captain, and make the captain's cabin your own (albiet somewhat cramped) home. The chest marked "Captain Tussaud's Booty" doesn't appear to respawn (to test this, I threw a letter in there, and weeks later found the contents of the chest unchanged) and the bed is open for sleeping. I assume that you don't have to worry about breaking any particular quests tied to this ship and its occupants. SPOILERS for the storied fate of Marie Elena and her crew..............Sure, the Cpatain's death is supposed to be your first official contract with the Dark Brotherhood, but the thing about DB assassinations is that if the 'mark' is killed prior to the assigned mission, the quest oftentimes will update to a successful conclusion as soon as you receive the contract. I base this on the experience of having found one of my pre-destined victims of the Dark Brotherhood lying dead on a road long before I was tasked to kill him, and subsequently being rewarded a complete mission message as soon as I actually received the order to assassinate him................SPOILERS end
thursti
Um... lets see there are tons... On your way to Kvatch you will find a place called Lord Blahs Blah... go in kill him and his wife. Then go and kill the other people... Now you have A big house and stables and farm. Shetcombe farm is also good. Applewatch is good. Fort Farragut. Some camp you find during the db deaddrops. cryocry
Hiding out in the wilderness won't help, as I just remembered. I have Frostcrag Spire, and had a bounty of 25 gold on me. Then, the Imperial Jailer comes to me (staring at the Orrery door, because I have Frostcrag Expanded, for some reason), even though I comited the crime (pickpocketing) in Leyawiin. So, you can't hide from the law, as said in one of your posts.
thursti
Yes you can't but if you live in an outdoors place (shetcombe farm). They probably won't come. It's like staying in your house. They can't come in.
RedRocketTM
If it's just for the house, the most beautiful mods that can be found around here are Belda Elysium, Home Moonshadow and the Chalet Waldesruh. Belda Elysium lies in between I.C. an Cheydinhal, a huge villa that has all you could imagine.Home moonshadow is somewhere in the mountains near Bruma, at pale pass. You'll need a teleporting spell to go there. And the Chalet Waldesruh can be found around the middle south of the map, as far as I remember it'll be marked right you installed and activated it. There are a lot of other cool houses too, you just have to take the time and look around for a while.(Remember you'll only find the buildings I listed above if you downloaded and installed the mods! None of them is a standard Oblivion house.)
