Equip in Pitt?

Hi folks, I did a search looking for a mod to keep equipment in the Pitt. Is there one that exists? Thanks for the help.

Never seen one of those on here, but I think you're confusing it with Anchorage Simulation - Keep Outside Items?

Yeah I knew of Anchorage, was hoping to take a few things with Pitt, likely doesn't exist, thanks though. :)

One way around it, you have to be fairly quick, and it involves using the console.

 

When you approach the main entrance gate to Pitt (Where you surrender your gear) Kill everyone out there and then save the game and go through the gate.

 

Now, at this point you usually meet with one of the raiders (forgot his name) and his four heavies... before any of them get a chance to move (before the raider starts talking to you) open the console and use the kill command on him.* If dialogue mode is started, it's too late.

 

Now use the 'enableplayercontrols' command to get you moving again. You should be able to move around in the pitt with all your gear intact and the missions in working order, carry on as you would normally. If you're bothered by using the console to kill the raider, fire off a few rounds from your weapon, enough to even up to the loss if you'd actually shot the Raider.

 

*Kill command, if you don't know:

 

1. open console

2. highlight target and click on them (name and ID should be one screen.

3. Type the word kill, and hit enter

4. exit console, target should fall down dead

That's funny I was just watching a youtube video of someone doing the console kill command(for something else). Thanks for the tip!

You'll wish you hadn't, you get it back anyway, and there's a lot of stuff to carry in the Pitt. ;)

Actually my real truth was to bring in my Remote Control Companion headset so I could call in some companions and gear them up with slave outfits as well. :)
