Shanannigan
Hey My Skyrim started crashing at the main menu if I have any mods active. LOOT is clean, TES5Edit gives me the go ahead, everything checks out. I've even cleaned out my entire mod library, removed everything, and started fresh with only the unnoficial patches. Having any mod active, even a single mod (USKP for example) causes the game to crash on the main menu. Papyrus shows an error, but I don't know what it means. [12/14/2014 - 12:13:36AM] Papyrus log opened (PC)[12/14/2014 - 12:13:36AM] error: Native function GetUseSound in empty state does not match existing signature on linked type Potion. Function will not be bound.[12/14/2014 - 12:13:36AM] Update budget: 1.600000ms (Extra tasklet budget: 1.600000ms, Load screen budget: 500.000000ms)[12/14/2014 - 12:13:36AM] Memory page: 128 (min) 512 (max) 76800 (max total) Any help would be appreciated, thanks. DoctorKaizeld
have you verified the integrity of the games cache?
camaro_69_327
Paprus also shows us you have edited the INI files . Generate NEW ini files and try Starting the game. Update budget: 1.600000ms (Extra tasklet budget: 1.600000ms, Load screen budget: 500.000000ms) To have the game generate fresh ini files...Remove the 2 INI files in "my Docs" folder. Start game with the Original Game launcher. And as for that error, i think i have seen that in every single report ever posted...lol
Shanannigan
have you verified the integrity of the games cache? I have verified the cache a few times. Each time it has said that there is 1 file that failed to validate which it redownloads. And as for that error, i think i have seen that in every single report ever posted...lol I regenerated the INI files and the problem persists. I think I'm just going to do a clean install.
camaro_69_327
You could try the easy way>>Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again I can verify it does work and saves a massive download time. I am running a 250+ mod install after doing the above.
