Right then where to start ,the begginings always good i suppose im yet another wasteland dreamer hoping to create some of the things i whined about for FALLOUT 3 like a good quest /story revolving around the alien saga featured on the citadel terminals and the bits of info iv read on the museum of tech terminals ,a bit more in depth and add that to the existing zeta abductions DLC a back ground quest if you like .

Any how im not just a newb to modding but a newb to pcs aswell so im going to need nursing more or less every step of the way .

you seem like an intelligent bunch who know what your doing [ brown stuff on my nose ] , so im going to be asking a hell of a lot of questions .

 

for example what is a .dll file ?aparantly i have a ssce5432.dll missing preventing me from installing the G.E.C.K , i know fallen at not even the first hurdle .

Can i use 7zip to open a .zip file if so what am i doing wrong ?

whats this WIN.RAR doodar ?

should i have stuck to playstation ? dont answer that one cos i think i know the answer .

7z opens most compressed file types, just make sure it is associated to do so (right-click, properties, set default program.)

 

DLL stands for "Dynamic-link library," and they are library files typically used as part of a larger program...

 

Googling "ssce5432.dll" gets me that it's a component that stands for "Sentry Spelling-Checker Engine." Perhaps someone will have more information; it may be corrupt or missing from your machine.
