Please Help me make character skins

I want to make completely NEW bodies and clothing/Armor (not replaceing current)

 

i found the body components but i dont know how they fit together

 

and i cant open them in blender

 

Note:

i have blender version 2.49b

Caligari truespace 7.61 beta 8

Gimp version 2.6.10

 

so how do i open them

how do i fit them together

and can i edit the entire body at once and just export or save the parts

New tutorial with actual tools.

Now its easier to create new cloths.

 

 

 

as per making custom bodies.. i didn't find any tutorials on that.. sry.

it's not a modelling tut. it is an outdated tutorial demonstrating basic nif hacking, which was the only way to get custom meshes into fallout for a few months just after release. for more than a year and a half that tutorial has been redundant. Why it is a sticky still I cannot say.
