Have model, need .NIF

Recommended Posts

Ok, I have a model sitting in my documents (untextured and i have no idea how it looks in-game) but i cannot get blender to export it to a nif format.

Can someone help please?

i keep getting errors about modules, if someone can tell me what to do that would be great....

Or if someone could let me e-mail it to them and they convert it to .nif, that would be great too.

This is my first time, so yeah....

Did you do the export as gambro and select it as a morrowind item(can only see if you make the screen that your trying to export with is full screen), and if you did and it says something about aligning stuff, go to the window with your object and just press ctrl+A and it SHOULD have an option open up to auto set it to morrowind standards.

If anyone else knows the Exact step to step, go ahead and summarize what I said, XP I think I just confused myself.

The newest Blender doesn't have the capability of exporting .nif files, if I recall correctly. To do it yourself, you'll need to download the version found on TESNexus (Search for Blender, then install all the programs included).

Same as before, "python Script Error, check console"

And on the console

Import Error: no module named nif_common

Can Someone help me? I cannot find answers anywhere, and I figure there has to be a modder here sommewhere who knows what the problem is. I sure as heck don't.

I got a bunch of errors during install. I tried redownloading, got errors again.

I did, in that order, same exact errors, anyone know of another program (free) that can be used? I am having too much trouble with this.

Hi.

Try to install this files in this order.

python-2.6.4.msi

blender-2.49b-windows.exe

PyFFI-py2.5-1.0.0-windows.exe

blender_nif_scripts-2.5.0-windows.exe

I work with this install for long time ago and i can imp/exp the most used formats.

GL.

PS. If you dont have them use from here:
