Kutt Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 I'm sure that there will inevitably be a TES VI as well as a Fallout 4, but when do you think this will happen and has anything been said or implied by Bethesda softworks about them working on either of these games?
Lachdonin Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Bethesda has stated they are working on other projects, but have not stated anything to the effect of what. Their typical turnaround is about 5 years for TES, with an announcement in year 4. So, if the practice holds, we will hear something in 2015. BUT, we also have not heard anything about Fallout 4, so it could be longer.
Boombro Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 I don't mind if it took a longer time, Skyrim is unfinished and rushed. If they took their time it would be great. They may also make a new engine, that takes some years, at least two. Skyrim is still going strong, because mods. And fallout 4 may last even as strong, because mods. I will start waiting after they add the dlcs.
opsguy27 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) They need to close the loops in Skyrim (i.e. Civil War, Blades, etc.). Maybe giving Skyrim the "Fallout: New Vegas" treatment between TESV and TESVI wouldn't be a bad idea. IMHO, I always thought we should have went back to the Imperial City, even if it was briefly. I mean c'mon, we have a living, breathing Dragonborn and his/her deeds are being heard around Tamriel. History remembers the Dragonborn Emperors, and that should make the Mede Dynasty very nervous...even to the point of taking action. No more DLC? Then give us some other material to chew on if we still have a while to wait for TES VI. Edited January 2, 2015 by opsguy27
